All three Wood County teams were losers as the
Northern Lakes League girls opened league play
Saturday.
Northview knocked off defending champion Perrysburg,
62-36.
In other games, it was: Southview 52, Bowling Green
21; Anthony Wayne 55, Rossford 35; and Springfield
38, Maumee 29.
In a non-league game, Eastwood beat Lakota, 51-40.
Northview 62, Perrysburg 36
In Perrysburg, Northview led 25-16 at the half and
pulled away in the second half to secure the win.
Skylar Rose led Northview with 13 points, Miriam
Justinger added 12 and Jessica Jessing added 11.
Kelsea Newman scored 10 points for Perrysburg. |
