Perrysburg’s girls basketball team
out-scored Rossford 25-13 in the second half en
route to a 47-33 victory in the Northern Lakes
League on Tuesday.
Also in the NLL, Northview defeated Bowling Green,
84-32.
In the Suburban Lakes League, it was: Eastwood 45,
Woodmore 40; Genoa 63, Elmwood 42; and Otsego 74,
Gibsonburg 29.
In non-league games, Lake defeated Swanton, 54-23;
and Lakota topped Old Fort, 44-32.
In a Toledo Area Athletic Conference boys game,
Ottawa Hills beat Northwood, 59-28.
GIRLS
Perrysburg 47, Rossford 33
In Rossford, the Yellow Jackets broke away from
Rossford in what was a 30-30 tie late in the third
quarter.
Perrysburg is 11-4 overall and 7-2 NLL.
Nicole Delas led the ’Jackets with 14 points and
Kelsea Newman added 13.
Courtney Trenchik led Rossford (4-10, 2-7) with 11
points and Nicole Nirschl added 10. |
