On January 12th the Perrysburg JV
continued their undefeated season in non-league
action against the Bowsher Rebels. The nine girls
decided to spread the wealth by disbursing points,
rebounds, steals, and assists across the stat sheet.
The Lady Jackets combined for a total of 58 points,
with Maddy Williams and Samantha Gremler slimly
leading the way.
Perrysburg also combined for 18 rebounds, with Becca
Tudor edging out the others with the most. Kelsey
Draper stole the steal category, although teammates
helped force 17 Bowsher turnovers.
Any fan will agree that the
Perrysburg JV team is most recognized for their
unselfish play on the court. This was evident
in Tuesday night's game as the entire JV squad all
contributed with at least one assist. Katie
Dimmerling dished the ball off the most (which may
explain why she didn't score). :)
With the 58-26 win over Bowsher,
Perrysburg improves to 9-0. Perrysburg faces Bowling
Green on Friday, January 15th at 6:00 P.M. |
